DESCRIPTION

With a focus on existing brand Identity, this project highlights the creation of brand elements such as a catalog, social media, and promotional video for the fashion brand A.L.C.

Through brand research, A.L.C believes that their role is to support women and to go beyond simply helping them look and feel their best. The designs not only needed to reflect this but go beyond this message. The designs also had to be geared toward a wide audience of women, and focus on their high end and sustainable luxury cloths. The design was inspired by 70’s shape patterns and colors with a fresh summer typography creating a colorful, funky, powerful, and feminine theme.

The catalog was printed at 12 pages, 9 x10.5” with a saddle stitch binding. The booklet originally was created as a fashion scrapbook, but this direction did not showcase the photography from the collection. The iconic bird pattern was inspired by the Crane, which is often associated with longevity and femininity in Japan. This message supports the design narrative and tone of the project. The second pattern shown inside the booklet is a patter of different shapes representing the different sizes and shapes of the female figure.
