DESCRIPTION

Birdeyes is luxury brand that sells fashionable and collectable binoculars, while setting a focus on promoting the little things in life through attention to detail.

The goal of this project was to create bold and luxurious packaging for a five item collection. The design was inspired by the idea of seeing the little things in life that oftentimes one can miss. “Birdeyes” was created from the concept that birds have incredible vision and see small things. The package design, balances detailed illustrations and focus with bold patterns, colors, and expression. This represents the balance of minimalism and maximalism in art.

Hand-drawn pen illustrations depicted scenes of small creatures and bugs to

promote this concept. In opposition, each illustration is paired with a bold color and pattern, with the idea that customers might want to collect each unique item in the set. The illustrations are featured on the front, while bold and patterns are displayed inside the packaging, as an intriguing surprise. Hand crafted Polymer clay emblems, representing each theme, are highlighted on the top of the boxes showing the attention to detail.  The back of the box provides the customer with a card of authenticity, ensuring trust in the brand.

IDENTITY

The logo was inspired by luxury fashion brands showcasing the brand name in brand name in a strong Serif typeface. The horizontal logo fits well on packaging and is easy to read.
